My Philosophy
Believing that each individual is special and unique, I try to understand you, your beliefs, core values and narratives. My goal is to listen to you. Together we can focus on achieving your goals. As human beings, we are social creatures. We were not meant to walk alone. Sometimes, however, our problems--whether they be large or small--make us feel alone and weighed down. I want to walk with you through whatever challenges you bring to therapy. I believe we all have the power to grow and I will work with your strengths to help you do that.
I am a licensed clinical social worker who has 37 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families facing a wide variety of mental health issues including substance abuse, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, marital conflict, stress, trauma and PTSD. I look forward to being part of your journey.
